Karate and a healthy balance.

A good early education is important in setting every child on the path to fulfilling their potential and physical activity can help play a vital role in this.

Sport or physical activity for children should be enjoyable – if they enjoy it, they will embrace it and develop from it – however, it is not just about being able to kick or hit a ball, or learning how to punch or block.

Indeed, Karate is not just about fighting – it’s about growing. Growing in mind, body and spirit – and using this knowledge to recognise that a healthy body can help greatly towards a healthy mind. It’s all about a sensible balance. Mind, body and spirit are intrinsically linked – we believe Karate is an immensely beneficial way of unifying them.

Kyudokan instructors are always on hand to help and support you and your children. When you join our clubs, we treat the responsibility you have given us very seriously. You are not just joining a Karate club, you are becoming part of the Kyudokan family.
